About the mock test
The TestDaF Mock Test puts you through a complete, timed simulation of the real examination: all four skills in sequence, under real time pressure, with the same task formats and word counts as the actual TestDaF.
When you finish, you receive an instant score report that estimates your TDN level for each skill (Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking) and shows where you over- or under-performed against the TDN criteria.

How accurate is the TDN score estimate?
The AI grades your writing and speaking against the same TDN 3–5 criteria TestDaF examiners use. The score is an estimate — not an official result — but candidates consistently find it correlates closely with their actual exam performance.
Do I need to complete the mock in one sitting?
The mock is designed to be completed in one session to simulate real exam conditions. If you need to pause, your progress is saved for 24 hours.
How is speaking graded?
Your spoken responses are evaluated for fluency, grammatical accuracy, vocabulary range, and task coherence — the same dimensions that TestDaF examiners assess.
How many mocks should I do?
One or two full mocks close to your exam date. Use the TestDaF Preparation Course for day-to-day skill practice, and the Mock Test to benchmark your readiness in the final weeks.
